“On the 17th of September, we want to see 20,000 people to flood into lower Manhattan, set up beds, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy Wall Street for a few months,” one statement says. “Like our brothers and sisters in Egypt, Greece, Spain, and Iceland, we plan to use the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic of mass occupation to restore democracy in America. Can’t believe how Steve Jobs has been in the cover of Newsweek since 1984! Now that’s visionary :)

via newsweek:

Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO of Apple. In a letter to the board, he writes, “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Its international standing has risen. Besides being an applicant-in-waiting for what would become the BRIIC group of leading emerging markets, it is a member of the G20 group of countries that is taking on more responsibility for running the world. It is seen as a democratic bulwark against extremist Islam, and as a vital American ally. Hillary Clinton included Indonesia on her first foreign tour as secretary of state……..
